During the early months of 1928 numerous conferences are scheduled with the committee on ar rangements of which D W Mulvane national committeeman of Kansas is chairman A committee of 100 members of the Kansas City Chamber of Com merce with Lyle Stephenson as chairman which was selected to go alter the meet is lending its aid in taking care of various details and one of the first tasks on its hands isthe remaking of Con vention hall Downtown Hall Convention hall is located in the heart of the downtown section in close proximity to the citys lead ing hotels Eleven thousand rooms are available within a radius of five blocks.
