I met L C Cheek of the post office staff in the j lobby and we stopped for a chat j. Mr Cheek lives on a farm in Chatham county about five miles from Chapel Hill on the j Pittsboro highway.

I went down in my well to clean it out one day last week j he said. You know a lot of wells dried up in the long drought this last fall and the water in mine.
