NEWYORK DAILY TRIBUNE MONDAY JULY 31 1854 7 pelfdestruction Hospital Cotr DE SoLEiL Coroner Gamble yesterday hall un inquest in Thirty eighthst near Tenthonv upon the ha dy of Michael Ferrick a native of Ireland 60 sears of wre whose death was caused by a stroke of the sun received while al work on Saturday Verdict accordingly enema. The train due in this City at 12 on Saturday from Ala ny was delayed about one hour by runing off the track a little above the Croton Station Nobody was hurt Toe train was going very slow or more serious consequences might have resulted. The cowcatcher was broken bat the cars were not much damaged t ACCIDANTALLY DRowsED Coroner Hilton yesterday held an inquest upon the body of John Sweeney a native of Ireland 1 years of age win was ace dentally drowned on Friday last. It appears that deceased was employed on board the steamer City of Hartford and while draw ns a bucket of water over the side of the vessel lost his bil ance fell into the river and wes drowned before aid eanld be extended to hin.

The necitent occurred atthe dock in Hartford and the body.
