TOURISTS CAMP IN WASHINGTON BELOW STANDARD Col Sherrill Hopes for Money for a Permanent Site Complaints from motorists that the tourists camp at East Potomac park is not up to standard are justi fied but our hands are tied and we can do little at present to improve it said Col C O Sherrill in charge it of public grounds and buildings to day. The appropriation from Congress is too small to equip the camp prop erly and even with the 25cent fee charged each car the revenue is in sufficient to t eet the expenses Col Sherrill said. It has not been definitely decided whether the camp shall remain at that place and it would be unwise to equip it elaborately if it is to be moved in a year or two he declared.
