SUPERVISORS WIELD AXE CUT TAXES DEPUTIES AND DEMONSTRATORS TIm Special Meeting Friday Result in Radical Changes to Reduce the Expenses of the County W At the special meeting of the Board of Supervisor of Bolivar county Miss held at the court house in Rosedale Friday Nov 12th 1920 the following orders were passed we condensing the wording bnt stating the facts. The ad valorem tax of two mills for the common schools levied on Nov 1st 1920 was eliminated. The County Superintendent of Education was authorized to run the county schools eight months the Board of Supervisors to furnish money to extend the term. The ad valorem tax for the Rosedale Consolidated School Dis trict was fixed at 7 mills on the dollar on all real and personal property.

In the district instead ot 10 mills as heretofore levied. The ad valorem tax for the Phalia Separate Road Diatrict was changed to 5 mill instead of 10 mills Following Is a list ot officers and deputies ordered dismissed from the service of the county to take effect Decemlier 1st 1920 One Deputy Chancery Clerk. Two Deputy Assesaora One Deputy Superintendent of Education. Two Deputy Skeriffs One Deputy Circuit Clerk.
